What are we looking for?
We are looking for an allrounder who has experience with machinery and cows. Because you are going to work with both on this farm.
The owner is not always on the farm, you will approx work half the time with the owner and students and the rest of the time you will work alone. So that’s why you love to work independently and taking some responsibility is not a problem for you.
This farm is grass based and has spring calvings, and offers you a very good life work balance with an average working week of 43/44 hours. Even in springtime there is enough help around the farm, so enough time for hobbies or sport.
The job has nice variety and is a real allround job; from milking in a 20 unit parlour and herd management to some tractorwork and feeding the cows when they are back in the sheds and other yard work.
You will have a lot of freedom during your job and a good work life balance, e.g. you only have to work weekends during calving season and when the owner is on holidays.
And beside a good life work balance, there is very comfortable accommodation on the farm available for you, including a wood stove (beside central heating) and free wood from the farm.
